Everybody’s story is unique and everybody has something to contribute.
Everybody’s story is unique. Everybody has something to offer and absolutely everybody has learnt some lessons in their lifetime. Some have chosen to learn the lessons, while some have decided to ignore the lessons. Either way, we’ve all experienced consequences.
When I was growing up, I didn’t really have anybody who was openly willing to share their triumphs and tribulations and I really wish I did. Your story, as insignificant as it may seem to you, might be just the story somebody else needs to make a significant change in their own life. Share your lessons. Share your triumphs but also don’t be afraid to honestly share your hardest lessons, the ones that hurt the most. So many people will proudly share their achievements but leave out the most important part choosing not to share the hard lessons they learnt along the way. This might be the inspiration somebody else needs.
Does this mean you get to take an active role in the other person’s life from that point on, judging the choices they make based on your advice? No way! What it means is that you give them the information they need to make informed decisions. It means that they have been shown what choice A might look like in their life as opposed to what choice B might look like. That is such valuable insight and might appear as a miraculous discovery to others.
