Photo Frame Ornaments
I love the idea of creating a collection of photos of my family members to hang on my tree. You could create a timeline showing children as they grow each year or simply create a collection of nearest and dearest friends, family and even pets to appreciate.
What You Will Need:
- Small wooden photo frame
- Spray Glue or PVA Craft Glue
- Glitter
- Ribbon
- Hook
- Spray Glazing
Method:
Step 1: Remove the glass from your frame. (If the glass is permanent, just stick some newspaper or baking paper over it to protect it from the glue and the glitter).
Step 2: Screw a hook into the top of the frame so you can hang it on the tree.
Step 3: Lay the frame on some newspaper and spray with glue.
Step 4: Immediately sprinkle glitter over the entire frame.
Step 5: Carefully lift the frame and shake excess glitter off.
Step 6: Lay the frame to dry on a drying rack.
Step 7: Cover the frame with glazing. I used a spray glossy glazing.
Step 8: Replace the glass and insert a photograph. (I added some sequins because I used a deeper memory frame)
Step 9: Attach some ribbon and your frame is ready to hang on the tree.
